While out on a picnic, Katie, who has only recently discovered she's a witch, finds a dead body. The body has a tattoo and Katie soon learns this means he's part of a secret magical society. Katie soon finds herself at the center of the murder investigation and a target of the killer as well.
This is the 2nd book in the series and I actually liked the first one better. This one was a little slow in the middle, but overall, not a bad read.
