The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo by Amy Schumer

Amy Schumer is best known for her first movie, "Trainwreck", and for being a stand up comedian. This is her first book.

The book started off on a good foot and had me laughing for the first few chapters, then it started to go downhill. From the middle of the book on, I only got a few laughs. Overall I was disappointed in it and only gave it 3 stars because there were actually sections that made me laugh.

The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery - 3 Stars

From Goodreads:
"With a timeless charm it tells the story of a little boy who leaves the safety of his own tiny planet to travel the universe, learning the vagaries of adult behaviour through a series of extraordinary encounters. His personal odyssey culminates in a voyage to Earth and further adventures."

I thought the book was cute, but really don't understand all the hype over it. I liked the quote that says "One sees only clearly with the heart. Anything essential is invisible to the eyes". I'm not sure if I would have enjoyed it more if it wasn't a classic or if it was originally written in English. Either way, it was a quick read.

Latte Trouble by Cleo Coyle - 4 Stars

Book 3 of the Coffeehouse Mystery series...Clare Cosi is ready for fashion week and starts out by hosting a party for a fashion designer that is revamping her line. Things take a turn for the worse when one of her employees serves a poisoned latte to one of the guests. Clare must then find out who the real target was and why in order to save her employee.

This was a quick cozy mystery. I enjoy the coffee references, even though I'm not a huge coffee connoisseur. LOL! Looking forward to book 4.
