Lana Lee never thought she would end up working at her parent's noodle shop, but after a nasty break up and walking out on her job, she finds herself waiting tables. She's the gossip of the Asian plaza until the owner, Mr. Feng shows up dead in his office after eating shrimp dumplings and having an allergic reaction; a reaction that everyone was aware of.
Soon, the whole restaurant is suspect. Lana decides to clear not only her name, but the name of those close to her.
This was a cute cozy mystery. It's the first one in the series. It started out really good, but I found myself pushing through the last 20%. I kind of wanted to give it 3 1/2 stars, but I rounded up. Wasn't sure if it was the book, or everything I've had going on lately. But I will check out the next in the series because I did like the characters.
